This is the coolest tree
Went to the park with Mommy and Grammy today. Mommy went fishing and I played with my dump truck and played in the water. It was so much fun. Every time the boats went by there were huge waves that came onto shore. There were several times we almost lost things to the river, but Mommy and Grammy caught them in times.
Mommy didn’t catch anything, but playing in the water was great. I dove in once and got soaked. After that staying out of the water was definitely out of the questions. It was an over all great day and I am really happy that Grammy came with us

Going into the fort
Mommy and I made my first fort today. Mommy took the chairs from the kitchen table and put them in a circle around the living room. We took blankets and put them over the chairs. I picked different books and toys to play with and we had lots of fun. I brought in Grampy’s flashlight and used that to have light inside the fort.
We did have to take it down eventually, but I helped put everything back where we got it from. Mommy and I will make another fort soon. They are so much fun.

Me in the Sheriff's car
We all headed over to St. Maries today to see Great Grammy and Great Grampy. This weekend they are having their Paul Bunyan Day celebrations. Mommy, Grammy, Grampy and Great Grammy played some bingo and I found a car in the park.
The best part of the day was when I got to sit in a Sheriff’s car!!!!
Mommy and I did not stay long at the park, but we did have lots of fun playing cars and rolling the ball back and forth at Great Grammy’s house. It was really hot outside and Great Grammy has air conditioning in her house. I like going to Great Grammy’s house, I know right where all the great toys are and I love seeing them.

Me on the pony
Mommy, Grammy, Grampy and I went to the North Idaho Fair yesterday. Grammy entered one of her quilts in and won 2nd place, we are very proud of her.
If you have never had an Elephant Ear you are definitely missing out, they are so yummy. Mommy and I spilt one and I got the sugar/cinnamon all over me, I was so messy.
After our yummy we walked around the fair grounds and looked at all the animals that were there. I saw cows, donkeys, horses, bunnies, chickens, sheep, lizards, snakes and even an alligator!!!!
To end the night I got to ride on a pony!!! I had so much fun and Mommy took some really good pictures of me and all the animals.

I can now spell my first name. Grampy, Grammy and Mommy have been working with me on it for several days now and they even taught me a little song ( a remake of B-I-N-G-O) and that helped me learn it quicker.
We are now working on my last name and after that we will work on my middle name. I am so proud of myself.

Mommy tells me everyday that I have to remember my manner words. She tells me that it is very nice to say please and thank you when I am asking for something, sometimes I forget though.
Today I remembered them, though. Mommy was cleaning the kitchen floor and she asked me to take my toys and books off the floor so that she could clean that area. When I was done I said, “Mommy I did it.” She told me thank you and I said, “You’re welcome, Mommy.”
I feel really good when I am polite and Mommy always tells me what a nice boy I am. I always say thank you when I am at the store and the checkers give me stickers. Then they tell Mommy that I am a very polite little boy. Manners are always a good thing

Mommy and Baby Moose
Mommy, Grammy, Grampy and I went up to St.Maries to visit with Great Grammy and Great Grampy. When Grampy woke me up this morning he told me that we were gonna go have a BBQ down by the river, I jumped right out of bed.
Mommy got me dressed and and then I went up to eat my breakfast. Grampy gave me my car sick medicine and my vitamin.
Once we got to Great Grammy’s we had to wait a little while, which was fine because I got to play with all the fun toys in the closet. Great Grammy made a huckleberry cake for the BBQ and some deviled eggs. Everyone is going to have hamburgers but Great Grammy and I are gonna have hot dogs. Those are so yummy.
We were at the St. Joe river for most of the day. I played in the rocks and dirt and I even got to go on a tour of my great aunt and uncle’s camper. I love campers and camping, it it so much fun. I am a little sad that we are not going on any more camping trips this year.
On the way home we saw a lot of wild life. There was a Mommy Moose with her baby and coming out of St. Maries there was a Mommy deer with her two babies. I am so glad that I got to see them and Mommy took pictures so I can remember the day always.

There has been so much going on this summer and I have not a had a chance to get on here.
Mommy and I have gone swimming in the big pool out back. I love being in the water, I put on my life vest and Mommy puts me into my blow up ring and we play “knock Mommy over with the ball” all the time. She pulls me round the pool and sometimes we fly around the pool.
Now I am running a fever and have been for a couple days. You would not think that I was sick because my energy has not changed but things to get to me more easily so you know then that I am sick. Mommy and I were up until 3am last night and she snuggled me to help me feel better. Today I went to my Doctor’s office to make sure that there was nothing wrong and I am grateful that I only have a little tummy bug.

Aunty Middy and Uncle Ronnie left on Friday…. A sad day for that, but they will be back next month to visit…. Yay!!!!
Grammy, Grampy, Mommy and I went camping again this weekend. We left after Grampy got off work, so we got there kind of late.
We found where Great Grammy was camping but there were no empty camping spots so we camped in Aunt Barb’s slot. She has a camper so they were not using the plot below.
Yesterday we went for a drive up Bluff Creek and around Beaver Creek. I fell alseep the last part of the trip, but Mommy said she saw a bear cave. When we got back to camp Mommy noticed that Grammy and Grampy’s tent was broken. Grampy had to rig it so they could sleep in it that night, somehow the poles broke.
Today we packed up to go home. Another camping trip over, sad. Before we left Grampy and I walked across the St. Joe River. I accidentally poked Grampy in the eye with my finger, so he was in a little pain the rest of the day. Mommy came across the river as well and Grampy, Mommy and I looked at rocks and threw them in the water and then we made our way back across the water. Mommy had a real hard time standing up, I guess that will teach her to wear flip flops in the water
The trip was a lot of fun and I am so glad that we got to go. I hope we can go again soon.

Well, I was not too into the whole idea of sitting perfectly still and waiting for a fish to come get the worm. I gave up on that idea and decided it would be more fun to get covered in dirt and drop some into my mouth. Now that was fun!!!
Oh, well… we are going to try again tomorrow.

I called and talked to Auntie Middy today. I asked her if it was true that she was coming to see me and she said she would be here on Sunday. Well, that is just great. I wish someone would have given me some warning. Now I have to figure out what I am gonna show her and what we are gonna play with.
Oh wait, there is more. I also found out that Uncle Ronnie is coming too. This just keeps getting better and better. I think this is the first time that Uncle Ronnie has come over since we moved, but I am excited to see him. I have a lot of things to tell him as well.
Well, I have to head off to bed now Mommy told me that I get to go play with all my friends at school this week so I have to get really rested. First a few stories and then it’s lights out

Can you see the snake
Grammy, Grampy, Mommy and I went on a picnic today. Well, at least that is what Mommy called it. I told her we were going on a camping. I am still convinced that is what we did. Anyway, we went to a place called Beauty Creek.
There was a ton of things to do there. I walked through the water with Mommy and Grampy. I threw rocks really far across the water and made huge splashes. I even got my first look at a snake. Grampy and I were walking in the water and out of nowhere there was this snake. Grampy picked it up and Mommy took pictures of us with it. It was really cool looking I have never seen one up close before.
After we stopped at the creek and played we got back in the car and headed up a road to see what we could find. It wasn’t a long trip because Grammy said that we needed gas so we headed back down to eat lunch.
Mommy and I played in the creek some more while Grammy and Grampy talked. A little while later it was time to leave. Grampy said that we would come back because he found some caves that he wanted to explore.
Until next time little snake

Well, we have been in Idaho now for a year and almost a month and I am loving it. I went on my first camping trip and so I will be on my first fishing trip. I have gone on a Scrambler and I have seen more wildlife than I can count.
I love our house and now I get to learn how to swim in a really REALLY big pool, I can’t wait for that.
We live closer to Great Grammy and Grampy and I get to see them a lot more often. There is just so much to do here and I am so thankful that Mommy, Grammy, Grampy and I moved here.

Mommy, Grammy, Grampy and I went camping this last weekend. I had so much fun. It was my first camp out so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but oh what a blast.
We went up to near the Red Ives Ranger Station and found Great Grammy, Great Grampy, Aunt Barb and Uncle Doug. I also met a ton of other family members, wow we have a big family.
Mommy, Grampy, Great Grampy, Aunt Barb and Uncle Doug all went out on the 4wheelers on Saturday and I stayed back with Grammy and Great Grammy and just played and played. When everyone got back they could hardly recognize me because I was so covered in dirt.
I actually sleep really well in the tent with Mommy. I was a little cold the first night because I kept wiggling out of my sleeping bag, but Mommy would always find a way to keep blankets on me.
Our last night there a baby bunny came to visit us while we were making S’mores. He/she was so tiny and barely made any noise at all. It was so cute. He/she came right up to Mommy and I and sat by the fire for a minute, but every time we put the flashlight on it he’d run away. He would come hoppin back when we took the light off him though. Silly bunny.
I had a grand time. I can’t wait to do it again. Aunty Middy will be here in two weeks, so maybe then. We did leave my sandals at the campsite, though. I have some other ones, but these were tan colored and went with everything. A little sad about that.

Mommy, Grampy and I went camping for the rest of our camping things today. We bought a mattress pump for Grammy and Grampy’s air mattress, the rest of the food, a water jug and Mommy bought a floor mat. I am getting so excited for this trip. I have never been on a camp out, so I am also a little nervous about it. Mommy says it will be really fun, so I am heading to bed to get lots of sleep. Hopefully, I will be able to sleep.

Played outside while Mommy finished cleaning out the pool today. It’s a good thing that she remembered the sun block because it was so hot out there.
Mommy bought a pool vac yesterday so that she could use it on the pool, but the hose is too big for it so now she’ll have to take it back. It’s ok she said because she got the pool clean anyway. I helped a little. I kicked my feet through the water and splashed it on her…. hee hee
Nap time now, had my mac and cheese with carrots and broccoli on the side and finished it off with a small salad. Colored Bob the Builder pictures today as well, I have been a busy boy… Time to rest and gather strength to out run and out last Mommy later today.

Mommy and I went out with the Mom’s group again today. We had lunch at one of the local schools, I wasn’t really hungry but Mommy that it was really cool that in the summer schools here offer free lunches to all the kids.
After lunch we went to another park, Blue Grass Park in CDA. There were all kinds of things here. I huge play structure with so many slides and swings, a water park (but it was too cold to play in the water) and a giant sandbox. I spent most of the time in there. Of course, that was after I had my time out.
Mommy told me that I had to stay inside the fence because she could not see me out in the field area. Well, I wanted to go out there and check out all the kites. So I ran and Mommy came after me. I hurt Mommy’s feelings by doing that, so I had to spend some time sitting on the groud before I could play again.
I really had fun today with Mommy and all my friends. I hope that I can come back when it’s a little warmer so that I can go in the water.

Trudging through the mud puddles
Mommy and I went to an ice cream party at Syringa Park today. I had so much fun. It was rather windy, but it didn’t slow me down any. I met up with my new friends from the Mommy group and I ever got to meet some new kids. Mommy and I took M&M’s and Reese Pieces to put on top of the ice cream. Other Mommy’s brought chocolate syrup and gummy bears, I call them vitamin bears because they look like my Lightning McQueen vitamins. We got to make our own sundaes and after I was finished I threw my bowl away in the garbage, all by myself.
I also learned how to jump in mud puddles today. Mommy didn’t show me and none of my new friends showed me either. I just decided to splash around in the puddles all by myself. Then when we came home it started to rain. At least it held out until then, thank you for that. Mommy made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with fishies and rasins for lunch then it was off to nap time for me.
I woke up about 5:30pm and Mommy and I did learning time. I learned how to spell: Cat, Mom, Bob, Boy and Kyjuan today. I counted all the way up to 12 and I did my letters all the way up to F. After dinner it was bath time, with bubbles of course and Mommy and I read 3 stories. Time for bed now… More adventures tomorrow.
